Our Parish Priest

In July 2024, following Bishop Marcus' announcement about the selection of a new parish priest for our community, Fr Gerard Kearney was appointed as the parish priest for St Mary's, Knaresborough, and St Aelred's of Rievaulx..

Fr. Gerard previously held the position of parish priest at St. Jeanne Jugan, overseeing both St. Urban's and Our Lady of Lourdes Churches.

Fr Gerard is presently living at the presbytery of St Aelred’s, ministering to the parish alongside St Mary's of Knaresborough.
