Young People

Young people are very important to our church. We have close links with both St Mary’s Primary School and St John Fisher’s High School. 

We have a good group of young people ministering on the Sanctuary at Mass as Acolytes (when they’ve been confirmed) and Servers (before their confirmation).

There is a small St Mary’s Youth Choir (for young people in years 7 to 13) who practice regularly and sometimes sing at church events (e.g. Holy Hours) or at Mass. We also have a small group of singers from years 5 and 6 who sing the psalm at 5pm Mass periodically.
