CAFOD: Meeting to plan for Lent 2025 – Thursday 13th February, 7pm St Aelred’s Church Hall. This is an opportunity for both parishes to work together for Lent and to explore the Live Simply award. All most welcome.
The Fisher Singers have a Summer Celebration concert on Monday 7th of July at 7.30pm at the Cairn Hotel. Tickets are £10, under 18s £8. Please phone 07411 258713/07958665410r tickets can be purchased on the door. Proceeds to go to Harrogate Homeless project.
Our SVPs collect food for the hungry, can you spare a tin a week for this also some toiletries? These can be left in the boxes at the  back of our churches. The Lord tells us to feed the hungry, so thank you all for your donations which are sincerely appreciated.
Saturday 12th July from 11.30 am to 3.45 pm in St. Aelred’s church hall, Woodlands Drive Harrogate HG27BE Speaker is Rev. Olivia Lambert. The title of her talk is ,"The Lord is my shepherd. Exploring the depths of the 23rd Psalm."
Friendship Groups: St Mary’s Friendship Group meet Monday afternoons from 1.30pm to 3pm with refreshments and good cake! All most welcome. St Aelred’s Friendship Group meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 1.30pm – 3.30pm all most welcome.
The winning numbers for the May draw:- £40 - 53, £25 - 139, £20 116, £15 108. The winning cheques can be collected from the notice board. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who supports the 200 club.
Mass intentions gratefully received using the brown envelopes in both churches. All Mass intentions must be made via the brown envelopes in the narthex and a cash donation placed in them or use the tab on the Dona machine. Please give at least 2 weeks’ notice to facilitate a special day.
Taking place at Ampleforth College from Friday 22nd - Monday 25th August , the Youth 2000 Summer Festival provides young adults (aged 16-35) from across the UK the opportunity to come together and explore faith, build relationships and find hope. St Aelred’s and St Mary’s church flower teams would gratefully accept flowers from your garden or bought flowers to be used to decorate the church. Please leave donations at the back of church in the bucket marked Flowers.

St Mary’s Bed Race Café raised an amazing £1186.85! A very big thank you to all who helped to make the event so memorable.
