Celebration of Married Life on Saturday 16th May , there will be a special Celebration Mass for Married Life at Leeds Cathedral at 12 Noon for couples and their families celebrating their 25th (Silver), 40th (Ruby), 50th (Golden), 60th (Diamond) and 70th (Platinum) wedding anniversaries this year. There will be an opportunity for couples, who wish to do so, to renew their marriage vows during the liturgy. If you are celebrating the anniversary of your wedding and you would like to take part in this celebration, please fill out the application form which is available at the back of church.
Jo Boyce (CJM Music) and friends will be with us on Saturday 8th May for a day of music and refection at St Mary’s. Further details to follow.

This Lent, live out the Gospel call to love your neighbour. By fasting and giving what you save, you join in Christ’s compassion and help another family put food on the table. Your donation can help families around the world grow food in difficult conditions – such as on flood-resistant floating gardens or using solar-powered water pumps in times of drought. St Mary’s Garden Spring Tidy took place on Saturday 7th March A day was held to get the parish gardens ready for spring at St Mary's Knaresborough with many hands to prune, sweep and fill bags for tip runs
Monday 2nd March All are welcome to come and enjoy fish and chips, mushy peas, bread & butter, coffee/tea and sweets to finish as well as some good chat. Food Bank: A TIN A WEEK: Our SVPs collect food for the hungry, can you spare a tin a week for this, also some toiletries? These can be left in the boxes at the back of our churches. The Lord tells us to feed the hungry, so thank you all for your donations which are sincerely appreciated.
